“The hospital taught me how to save lives. My calling taught me how to help women live them.”

That calling became SoulFlower Haven.
Where evidence-informed education, ancestral wisdom, and compassionate support come together.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Knowledge & Choice
Confidence grows when people understand their options and feel supported in making their own decisions. Your voice, values, and choices remain central.
Whole Person Care
We honor the connection between body, mind, emotions, spirit, and environment. Support should nourish the whole person through rest, education, and compassionate presence.
Ancestral Wisdom
Culture, family traditions, and lived experience are meaningful sources of wisdom. We make space for ancestral knowledge while thoughtfully integrating evidence-informed education.
"Trusted care is the bridge between science and the soul. At SoulFlower Haven, we ensure no one walks that bridge alone."

I’m Danielle Lockett, founder of SoulFlower Haven, a registered nurse, birth and postpartum doula, health educator, and student nurse midwife.
Growing up in a rural Mississippi Delta community, I was surrounded by generations of women who cared for one another through birth, illness, and the end of life. Their remedies, shared wisdom, nourishment, and presence taught me that support can be both practical and deeply personal.
My path first led me into acute and critical care nursing, where I gained deep respect for evidence, preparation, skilled intervention, and the providers who act when complications arise. I also learned the value of what happens before a crisis. Education, prevention, whole-person care, and consistent support can encourage deeper healing and healthier experiences.
I believe women deserve every opportunity for a safe physiological pregnancy and birth, with clear information, respect for their choices, and trust in their bodies and providers. When medical intervention is needed, they should understand its purpose and remain included in decisions.
SoulFlower Haven grew from these experiences and from my desire to help people enjoy lives that feel beautiful, peaceful, and prosperous in the fullest sense. It brings together the wisdom of my upbringing, my nursing experience, and my calling to women’s health through education, restoration, and compassionate support.
